IPEC2020 Cognitive Engineering & Production

The 6th Integrated Plant Engineering Conference on Cognitive Engineering & Production made an European exchange of ideas, technology and best practices possible. Besides participants from the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region and the Automation Valley Nordbayern Network speakers and guests from Austria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Sweden and the UK took part in discussions and B2B Meetings.

In terms of content AI applications with neuronal networks like machine vision, predictive analytics and maintenance as well as anomalie detection were focused. Furthermore different digitalization projects and industry use cases in branches such as manufacturing and automotive industry, food production from Germany and the European partner regions were presented. The event ended with a presentation of the interdisciplinary project ENGINEERING 2050 were technicians, artists and interested citizens develop new visions for the future.

The Integrated Plant Engineering Conference (IPEC) was organized by the Nuremberg Chamber of Commerce with technical expertise from VDI Bayern Nordost & VDE Nordbayern and supported by partners and exhibitors. The B2B partnering activities during the conference were organized by the Enterprise Europe Network / Bayern Innovativ GmbH.
