Schneider Electric versteht den Trend Industrie 4.0 als Evolution statt Revolution. So arbeitet das Unternehmen schon seit 2001 an Projekten, bei dem es darum geht, Produktionsprozesse zu vernetzen. Innovationen in den Bereichen offene Architekturen und Ethernet-Kommunikation sind also schon vorhanden. Die Botschaft von Schneider Electric lautet nun: Für die intelligente Fabrik müssen die vernetzten Produkte nun in übergeordnete Softwaresysteme eingebettet werden.

The “Israel Day” and the 1st Bavarian-Israeli IT Security Conference will take place on October 7th to 8th, 2015 in Nuremberg as part of “it-sa” IT Security Expo and Congress. The goal of the initiative is to connect IT security key players in business and science from Israel and Bavaria and to foster B2B contacts. Vor allem aber geht es um Datensammlung und -Verwertung und um die Vernetzung von Maschine und Maschine sowie Maschine und Mensch. Bei Kärcher wird deutlich, dass Industrie 4.0 aus dem Blick der Gegenwart als etwas Evolutionäres zu verstehen ist, wirklich Umstürzlerisches (im wörtlichen Sinne einer vierten industriellen Revolution) findet nicht statt.
